Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%

This artwork by Farid Belkahia achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Dubai in November 2017. In the Boundless: Dubai auction, the work Moroccan untitled  sold for USD 23,750.00 (€ 19,961.34) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Farid Belkahia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jerusalem in March 2020 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 225,840.96).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Farid Belkahia erzielte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Boundless: Dubai wurde die Arbeit Moroccan untitled  für USD 23.750,00 (€ 19.961,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Farid Belkahia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jerusalem im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 225.840,96).
