A top price for Farid Belkahia
This artwork by Farid Belkahia achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2020. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work Jerusalem sold for GBP 200,000.00 (€ 225,840.96) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 90,000.00. This high result makes Jerusalem the most expensive artwork by Farid Belkahia that we have observed at auctions so far.
