Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Farid Belkahia was auctioned at Christies in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 58,402.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Farid Belkahia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jerusalem, which sold at auction in March 2020 for GBP 200,000.00 (€ 225,840.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Farid Belkahia kam im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 58.402,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Farid Belkahia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jerusalem beobachtet, die im März 2020 für GBP 200.000,00 (€ 225.840,96) versteigert wurde.
