In May 2016 Artcurial held the auction Orientalism, which included the work Scène Animée by Farid Aouad. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,340.00 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Farid Aouad achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sortie de Métro in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,930.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion Orientalism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scène Animée von Farid Aouad zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.340,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Farid Aouad erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sortie de Métro im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 27.930,36).
