Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work Peony by Fang Zhaoling for HKD 25,200.00 (€ 2,964.30). This price was achieved in the auction Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Zhaoling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Boating in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 171,131.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Peony von Fang Zhaoling für HKD 25.200,00 (€ 2.964,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Zhaoling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring Boating im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 171.131,94).
