The work Boating by Fang Zhaoling was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. It achieved a price of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 21,869.46), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Fang Zhaoling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring Boating in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 171,131.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Boating von Fang Zhaoling kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 21.869,46) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fang Zhaoling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spring Boating im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 171.131,94).
