This artwork by Fang Zhaoling achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in September this year. In the Chinese Paintings-The Online sale auction, the work Dragon Boat, 1984 sold for HKD 320,000.00 (€ 38,609.22) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fang Zhaoling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring Boating in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 171,131.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fang Zhaoling erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings-The Online sale wurde die Arbeit Dragon Boat, 1984 für HKD 320.000,00 (€ 38.609,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fang Zhaoling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spring Boating im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 171.131,94).
