Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Fang Zhaoling achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in September last year. In the Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Calligraphy in Regular Script - Longevity sold for HKD 30,240.00 (€ 3,934.94) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Zhaoling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Boating in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 171,131.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fang Zhaoling erzielte im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy in Regular Script - Longevity für HKD 30.240,00 (€ 3.934,94) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Zhaoling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring Boating im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 171.131,94).
