The work Temple Of The Gold Mountain by Fang Yizhi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 12,213.60), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fang Yizhi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscapes Of Worn Brushstrokes, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 19,700.00 (€ 27,585.10).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Temple Of The Gold Mountain von Fang Yizhi kam im November 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 12.213,60) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fang Yizhi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes Of Worn Brushstrokes beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 19.700,00 (€ 27.585,10) versteigert wurde.
