Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape by Fang Yizhi. The price achieved of HKD 25,200.00 (€ 2,698.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Yizhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes Of Worn Brushstrokes in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 19,700.00 (€ 27,585.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Fang Yizhi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.200,00 (€ 2.698,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Yizhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes Of Worn Brushstrokes im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.700,00 (€ 27.585,10).
