Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Goat Feeding on Leaves by Fang Rending was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 189,000.00 (€ 21,023.63). Admittedly, works by Fang Rending have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Going To A Market in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,003,000.00 (€ 105,832.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Goat Feeding on Leaves von Fang Rending wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 189.000,00 (€ 21.023,63) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fang Rending auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Going To A Market im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.003.000,00 (€ 105.832,53).
