Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Ballet Dancer by Fang Rending. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,612.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fang Rending - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Going To A Market, which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 1,003,000.00 (€ 105,832.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ballet Dancer von Fang Rending zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.612,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fang Rending mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Going To A Market beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 1.003.000,00 (€ 105.832,53) versteigert wurde.
