Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work A Young Lady With A Dog by Fang Rending. The price achieved of HKD 327,600.00 (€ 35,074.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 260,000.00 – 360,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fang Rending - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Going To A Market, which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 1,003,000.00 (€ 105,832.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Young Lady With A Dog von Fang Rending zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 327.600,00 (€ 35.074,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 260.000,00 – 360.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fang Rending mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Going To A Market beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 1.003.000,00 (€ 105.832,53) versteigert wurde.
