Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
The work Figure by Fang Rending was worth HKD 649,000.00 (€ 71,430.12) to a buyer in October 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fang Rending; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Going To A Market sold at auction in April 2018 with the realized price of HKD 1,003,000.00 (€ 105,832.53).
Kunstwerk zum Fünffachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Figure von Fang Rending war einem Käufer im Oktober 2017 HKD 649.000,00 (€ 71.430,12) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Fang Rending; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Going To A Market im April 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.003.000,00 (€ 105.832,53).
