Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Fang Rending achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Figure sold for HKD 177,000.00 (€ 20,457.93) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fang Rending have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Going To A Market in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,003,000.00 (€ 105,832.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fang Rending erzielte im Mai 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Figure für HKD 177.000,00 (€ 20.457,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fang Rending auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Going To A Market im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.003.000,00 (€ 105.832,53).
