Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers by Fang Jiekan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The price achieved of HKD 16,800.00 (€ 1,687.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fang Jiekan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 96,760.00 (€ 11,304.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Fang Jiekan kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 16.800,00 (€ 1.687,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fang Jiekan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 96.760,00 (€ 11.304,15).
