Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady Coming Home by Fan Xu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,960.34) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fan Xu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Beauty Catching Butterflies, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 112,100.00 (€ 13,660.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lady Coming Home von Fan Xu kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.960,34) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fan Xu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Beauty Catching Butterflies beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 112.100,00 (€ 13.660,13) versteigert wurde.
