Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Snow Landscape by Fan Qi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 604,800.00 (€ 67,275.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fan Qi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Travelling in the Mountains in Autumn, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 1,380,000.00 (€ 142,075.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Snow Landscape von Fan Qi kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 604.800,00 (€ 67.275,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fan Qi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Travelling in the Mountains in Autumn beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 1.380.000,00 (€ 142.075,02) versteigert wurde.
