Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Fan Qi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 6,000.00 (€ 667.14) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fan Qi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Travelling in the Mountains in Autumn in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,380,000.00 (€ 142,075.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Fan Qi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 6.000,00 (€ 667,14) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fan Qi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Travelling in the Mountains in Autumn im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.380.000,00 (€ 142.075,02).
