This artwork by Fan Qi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. In the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction, the work Landscapes sold for HKD 720,000.00 (€ 74,979.35) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fan Qi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Travelling in the Mountains in Autumn sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of HKD 1,380,000.00 (€ 142,075.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fan Qi erzielte im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY wurde die Arbeit Landscapes für HKD 720.000,00 (€ 74.979,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 400.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Fan Qi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Travelling in the Mountains in Autumn im Oktober 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.380.000,00 (€ 142.075,02).
