In the Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Apple Blossoms III sold for USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,436.08) - well above the upper estimate of USD 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fairfield Porter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Schooner II in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,932,500.00 (€ 1,655,955.44).

In der Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner wurde die Arbeit Apple Blossoms III für USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.436,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fairfield Porter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Schooner II im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.932.500,00 (€ 1.655.955,44).
