Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Celebration by Fadjar Sidik was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) Including a Selection of Japanese Woodblock Prints from Private Collections auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,643.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fadjar Sidik - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dinamika Ruang (Space Dynamics), which sold at auction in November 2018 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,340.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Celebration von Fadjar Sidik wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) Including a Selection of Japanese Woodblock Prints from Private Collections bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.643,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fadjar Sidik mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dinamika Ruang (Space Dynamics) beobachtet, die im November 2018 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.340,99) versteigert wurde.
