It achieved a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,352.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fabio Fabbi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tambourine Dance in October 2005 with an auction result of USD 363,200.00 (€ 302,792.83).

Die Arbeit Italian the Blue Veil von Fabio Fabbi wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.352,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fabio Fabbi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Tambourine Dance im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 363.200,00 (€ 302.792,83).
