Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Danseuses dans le souk by Fabio Fabbi was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Bonhams in New York in July 2020. The price achieved of USD 23,825.00 (€ 20,235.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fabio Fabbi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tambourine Dance in October 2005 with an auction result of USD 363,200.00 (€ 302,792.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Danseuses dans le souk von Fabio Fabbi wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 23.825,00 (€ 20.235,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fabio Fabbi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Tambourine Dance im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 363.200,00 (€ 302.792,83).
