Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,730.00 (€ 13,623.78). Other works by F. Maestosi have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 11,950.00 (€ 18,483.94) in June 2002 for the work La sala dell'Iliad, Pitti Palace, Florence.
