This artwork by Ezekiel Baroukh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2015. In the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction, the work Egyptian untitled sold for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,461.60) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. This high result makes Egyptian untitled the most expensive artwork by Ezekiel Baroukh that we have observed at auctions so far.
