Auction result well in line with expectations
The work I) Untitled (Still Life) Ii) Untitled (Portrait) by Ezekiel Baroukh was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 1,638.00 (€ 1,818.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ezekiel Baroukh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Egyptian untitled in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,461.60).

Die Arbeit I) Untitled (Still Life) Ii) Untitled (Portrait) von Ezekiel Baroukh wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.638,00 (€ 1.818,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ezekiel Baroukh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Egyptian untitled im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 25.461,60).
