In April 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work In The Cart (Peasants From The Province Of Riazan Returning From The Fields) by Evgeni Evgenievich Lanceray. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,101.18) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Evgeni Evgenievich Lanceray have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Russian Bronze: Svyatoslav On The Way To Tsargrad in April 2009 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 69,842.95).

Im April 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit In The Cart (Peasants From The Province Of Riazan Returning From The Fields) von Evgeni Evgenievich Lanceray zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 15.101,18) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00.
