Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Romantic Landscape by Evgeni Evgenievich Lanceray was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,554.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Evgeni Evgenievich Lanceray - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Russian Bronze: Svyatoslav On The Way To Tsargrad, which sold at auction in April 2009 for USD 92,500.00 (€ 69,842.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Romantic Landscape von Evgeni Evgenievich Lanceray kam im November 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.554,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Evgeni Evgenievich Lanceray mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Russian Bronze: Svyatoslav On The Way To Tsargrad beobachtet, die im April 2009 für USD 92.500,00 (€ 69.842,95) versteigert wurde.
