The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 22,651.77), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Evgeni Evgenievich Lanceray - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Russian Bronze: Svyatoslav On The Way To Tsargrad, which sold at auction in April 2009 for USD 92,500.00 (€ 69,842.95).
