In April 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work A Russian Bronze: A Don Cossack by Evgeni Evgenievich Lanceray. The »bidding war« ended at USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,213.53), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Evgeni Evgenievich Lanceray have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Russian Bronze: Svyatoslav On The Way To Tsargrad in April 2009 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 69,842.95).

Im April 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Russian Bronze: A Don Cossack von Evgeni Evgenievich Lanceray zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 13.213,53) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evgeni Evgenievich Lanceray auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Russian Bronze: Svyatoslav On The Way To Tsargrad im April 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 69.842,95).
