In September 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work Girl on a Stool by Evgeni Kropivnitsky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,008.00 (€ 1,172.82), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Evgeni Kropivnitsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wine And Fruit, 1961 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 28,000.00 (€ 17,985.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girl on a Stool von Evgeni Kropivnitsky zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.008,00 (€ 1.172,82) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Evgeni Kropivnitsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wine And Fruit, 1961 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.000,00 (€ 17.985,61).
