Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cuckolded by Evgeni Kropivnitsky was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2006. The price achieved of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,604.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Evgeni Kropivnitsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wine And Fruit, 1961 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 28,000.00 (€ 17,985.61).

Die Arbeit Cuckolded von Evgeni Kropivnitsky kam im Juni 2006 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.604,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden.
