In the Important Silver, Objects of Vertu and Russian Works of Art auction, the work View of an Abandoned Church sold for USD 5,736.00 (€ 4,671.01) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Evgeni Evgenievich Lanceray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Russian Bronze: Svyatoslav On The Way To Tsargrad in April 2009 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 69,842.95).
