Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2003 Christies in London held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART, which included the work Lady Sleeping by Evelyn Williams. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 646.25 (€ 936.17). Other works by Evelyn Williams have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,034.00 (€ 1,497.88) in March 2003 for the work Waiting for the Day.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lady Sleeping von Evelyn Williams zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 646,25 (€ 936,17) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Evelyn Williams haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.034,00 (€ 1.497,88) im März 2003 für die Arbeit Waiting for the Day beobachtet.
