A top price for Eva Fuká - as previously expected
In December 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction The Gift of Photographs, which included the work Inaccessible by Eva Fuká. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,351.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Inaccessible is the most expensive artwork by Eva Fuká that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion The Gift of Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Inaccessible von Eva Fuká zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.351,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Inaccessible das teuerste Kunstwerk von Eva Fuká, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
