Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Darby and Joan by Eugenio Zampighi was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,493.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugenio Zampighi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La famiglia felice in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 73,500,000.00 (€ 66,059.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Darby and Joan von Eugenio Zampighi kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.280,00 (€ 1.493,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugenio Zampighi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La famiglia felice im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 73.500.000,00 (€ 66.059,99).
