The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,466.59), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugenio Dittborn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The 21St History Of The Human Face (Colophonia) Airmail Painting No. 122 in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 49,204.53).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugenio Dittborn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The 21St History Of The Human Face (Colophonia) Airmail Painting No. 122 im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 49.204,53).
