Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2011 Phillips in London held the auction The Valencia Collection, which included the work One, Airmail Painting no. 157 by Eugenio Dittborn. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,723.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eugenio Dittborn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The 21St History Of The Human Face (Colophonia) Airmail Painting No. 122, which sold at auction in May 2021 for USD 60,000.00 (€ 49,204.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2011 führte Phillips in London die Auktion The Valencia Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit One, Airmail Painting no. 157 von Eugenio Dittborn zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.723,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Eugenio Dittborn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The 21St History Of The Human Face (Colophonia) Airmail Painting No. 122 beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für USD 60.000,00 (€ 49.204,53) versteigert wurde.
