Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paesaggio Con Chiusa, 1869 by Eugenio Cecconi was auctioned at Christies in Rome in June 2006. The price achieved of EUR 7,440.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugenio Cecconi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bivacco di cacciatori (1885-1890) in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 422,750,000.00 (€ 379,957.31).
