Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fiume Alla Sorgente by Eugenio Cecconi was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in December 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugenio Cecconi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bivacco di cacciatori (1885-1890) in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 422,750,000.00 (€ 379,957.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fiume Alla Sorgente von Eugenio Cecconi kam im Dezember 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugenio Cecconi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bivacco di cacciatori (1885-1890) im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 422.750.000,00 (€ 379.957,31).
