It achieved a price of EUR 28,520.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugenio Cecconi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bivacco di cacciatori (1885-1890) in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 422,750,000.00 (€ 379,957.31).

Die Arbeit Cani Nella Radura von Eugenio Cecconi wurde im November 2004 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 28.520,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugenio Cecconi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bivacco di cacciatori (1885-1890) im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 422.750.000,00 (€ 379.957,31).
