Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Eugène Napoléon Flandin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2004. In the INDIAN AND ISLAMIC WORKS OF ART auction, the work Flagellation sold for GBP 4,541.00 (€ 6,535.75) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Napoléon Flandin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French The Sehzade Mosque In Laleli, Constantinople in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 53,300.00 (€ 67,799.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugène Napoléon Flandin erzielte im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion INDIAN AND ISLAMIC WORKS OF ART wurde die Arbeit Flagellation für GBP 4.541,00 (€ 6.535,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Napoléon Flandin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French The Sehzade Mosque In Laleli, Constantinople im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 53.300,00 (€ 67.799,93).
