Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2018 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Spring Sale, which included the work "Badande pojkar (Sommarbadet)" Bathing boys by Eugène Jansson. The auction ended at the price of SEK 350,000.00 (€ 33,480.35), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 300,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eugène Jansson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Timmermansgatan' (Timmermansgatan) in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 3,150,000.00 (€ 307,262.77).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2018 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Spring Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Badande pojkar (Sommarbadet)" Bathing boys von Eugène Jansson zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 350.000,00 (€ 33.480,35) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 300.000,00 – 350.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugène Jansson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Timmermansgatan' (Timmermansgatan) im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 3.150.000,00 (€ 307.262,77).
