Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work "Afton" (Evening) by Eugène Jansson for SEK 1,800,000.00 (€ 183,114.29). This price was achieved in the auction Important Winter Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 2,000,000.00 – 2,500,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Eugène Jansson have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December 2021 by the work 'Timmermansgatan' (Timmermansgatan) at SEK 3,150,000.00 (€ 307,262.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Afton" (Evening) von Eugène Jansson für SEK 1.800.000,00 (€ 183.114,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Winter Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 2.000.000,00 – 2.500.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Eugène Jansson wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Dezember 2021 die Arbeit 'Timmermansgatan' (Timmermansgatan) mit SEK 3.150.000,00 (€ 307.262,77).
