Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Place du Republic, Paris by Eugène Galien-Laloue was sold in the Home & InteriorsCollections auction at Bonhams in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,080.00 (€ 3,695.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Galien-Laloue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bouquinistes sur le quai de Tournelle, Paris in April 2002 with an auction result of USD 89,625.00 (€ 99,561.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Place du Republic, Paris von Eugène Galien-Laloue wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Home & InteriorsCollections bei Bonhams versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 4.080,00 (€ 3.695,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Galien-Laloue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bouquinistes sur le quai de Tournelle, Paris im April 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 89.625,00 (€ 99.561,21).
