The work Composition by Eugène de Sala was sold in the The Andersson Collection H042 auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012. The result of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 4,651.95) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eugène de Sala have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Notre dames des lesbes" in November 2020 with an auction result of SEK 330,000.00 (€ 32,259.79).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Composition von Eugène de Sala wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion The Andersson Collection H042 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 4.651,95) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugène de Sala auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Notre dames des lesbes" im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 330.000,00 (€ 32.259,79).
