Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nu Cubisant, 1923 by Eugène Dabit was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in October 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 638.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Eugène Dabit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Port De Rotterdam, Effet De Soleil, Circa 1926 in November 2009 with an auction result of EUR 2,678.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nu Cubisant, 1923 von Eugène Dabit kam im Oktober 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 638,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugène Dabit auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Port De Rotterdam, Effet De Soleil, Circa 1926 im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.678,00.
