In April 2014 Christies in London held the auction European Noble & Private Collections Including Fine Tapestries Part II, which included the work Figures on the outskirts of a village by Eugène Cicéri. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,043.08), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Eugène Cicéri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work By the Riverbank in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 33,460.00 (€ 26,251.37).

Im April 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion European Noble & Private Collections Including Fine Tapestries Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures on the outskirts of a village von Eugène Cicéri zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.043,08) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugène Cicéri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit By the Riverbank im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.460,00 (€ 26.251,37).
