Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 258.50 (€ 377.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Cicéri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work By the Riverbank in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 33,460.00 (€ 26,251.37).
